EZ Platelet-rich Fibrin + Plasma Filler

What is EZGEL?

EZGEL is a 100% autologous and natural gel material, obtained through centrifugation of a whole blood sample to isolate beneficial cells, then subjected to a cooling and heating process, without any chemical addition nor modification, for rejuvenating and volumizing purposes. By heating up Plasma, particularly human serum albumin (HSA), we’re modifying its rheological properties. Temperature variation is the most natural way to create an intermolecular bond, without using any additives such as BDDE for cross linking. EZGEL is created by combining this heated plasma gel and EZPlatelet-rich Fibrin concentrate at a 2:1 ratio.

What To Expect During Your EZ GEL Treatment?

One of the great things about EZGEL treatments is there is very little downtime, and the procedure does not take long to complete. Prior to your treatment, you will discuss your concerns and goals with one of our aesthetic nurses to determine if EZGEL injections are right for you.

Once a treatment plan is created, our team will determine how much product is needed and this will dictate how much blood is required. Coming to your visit well hydrated will help ensure an adequate amount of blood cells are collected.
Once the blood has been drawn and then prepared, the area may be numbed to reduce any discomfort. The gel is then injected using a small cannula (a blunt needle) into the areas of concern.
From start to finish your treatment will take less than an hour to complete

Recommended Treatment

Pre-Treatment

Discontinue blood thinning products such as ASA, ibuprofen, and certain supplements 1 week prior to treatment. Skin must be completely clean prior to treatment (no makeup, moisturizer, etc). Numbing cream will be applied to treatment area 30 minutes prior to procedure or a dental block can be performed for lip area.

Post-Treatment

  • Expect redness, tenderness, swelling, and bruising.
  • Apply ice if any discomfort is noted post- treatment
  • Avoid strenuous activity for 24 hours
  • In-depth post-treatment handout will be given the day of procedure

You should be able to see a visible change after just one injection with injectable fillers. It takes up to four weeks for the filler to fully integrate into the tissue; some fillers are more cohesive than others.

Although the effects last for a long time, they are not permanent. The duration of treatment depends on several factors, including the patient’s age, the type of filler used, and the amount of filler used.
After injections, you should be able to resume your normal routine. You should avoid scheduling a filler appointment just before a special event because there might be some bruising or swelling.
